Joey Logano (Team Penske) took a new pole position this season in NASCAR Sprint Cup after dominating qualifying on the Martinsville (Virginia) track. The winner of the Daytona 500 in Florida is ahead of a veritable army of Chevrolets led by Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing), Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row) and drivers Hendrick Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
