Ryan Newman has confirmed the extension of his contract for “multiple seasons” with Richard Childress Racing. The 38-year-old driver from Indiana has been playing for the RCR since 2014, when he finished second in the championship behind Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing).
The former resident of Tony Stewart's team has not won in the Sprint Cup Series since Indianapolis in 2013, and notably won the Daytona 500 in 2008 for the Penske Racing team.
