Nationwide Insurance, which sponsored the second division of the NASCAR for seven seasons, will give way in 2015 to the company Comcast (specialized in media), via its subsidiary Xfinity. The current Nationwide Series will therefore bear the name Xfinity Series until at least 2024. Nationwide will sponsor the No. 88 Chevrolet SS of Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Hendrick Motorsports) for twelve events next year.
