Steve O'Donnell, the vice president of the Nascar, announced that no mechanic working on Austin Dillon's car following the latter's terrible crash at Daytona on Monday July 6 will be penalized. The stewards will simply want to meet the team members who helped the Richard Childress Racing driver to “discuss safety rules” while clearly recognizing that “we all applaud someone who runs onto a stage to offer help”.
