Ryan Reed (Ford) won the Xfinity race at Daytona (Florida) for the second time after his success in 2015, thus obtaining his 2nd victory after 2015. The driver of the No. 16 Mustang was however involved in several collisions which punctuated the ordeal. The Chevrolets of Kasey Kahne and Austin Dillon completed the top three.
