Nascar – Reduced penalty for CPR

The Richard Childress Racing penalty, received at the end of the Fontana race (California), was reduced following the team's appeal, even if it remains type P5. The penalty is now only 50 points for Ryan Newman and Richard Childress while the fine for crew chief Luke Lambert has increased to $75 (€000). Newman moves up from 70th to 000th position in the Drivers' standings.
