The Stewart-Haas Racing was penalized after the Watkins Glen race for breaching the regulations. Kevin Harvick's No. 4 Chevrolet was checked with illegal ballast. The driver will not be sanctioned and thus retains his seventh place, but his crew chief Rodney Childers will have to pay a fine of $25 (approximately €000).
