Team Penske dominated the Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen (New York). Starting from pole position, Joey Logano was not disturbed by a penalty for an infringement in the pitlane (after leaving with the fuel tank attached to his Ford), and came to win in front of his teammate Brad Keselowski.
Third, Chris Buescher (Roush Fenway Racing) has a 24-point lead at the top of the general classification, his rivals having experienced a difficult test at the Glen, Ty Dillon (Richard Childress Racing) and Regan Smith (JR Motorsports) notably held on during the race, almost coming to blows after the finish.
