Ryan Blaney won yesterday in the Nationwide race at the Bristol track in Tennessee. The Team Penske driver took advantage of the final restart seven laps from the goal to leave Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) behind and secure his second career success in the series. The favorites for the title were closely marked yesterday with the overall leader Chase Elliott (JR Motorsports) 3rd ahead of Ty Dillon (Richard Childress Racing) 4th and Regan Smith (JR Motorsports) 5th. The loser of the evening is Elliott Sadler (JOe Gibbs Racing) 3rd in the championship before Bristol and who falls to 4th place after his 29th place yesterday.
