Kevin Harvick (JR Motorsports) easily won the ToyotaCare 250 counting for the Nationwide and contested at the Richmond International Raceway several hours late due to rain. The driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet quickly took the lead of the race and never let it go to win ahead of his teammate Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing). Chase Elliott maintains the Championship lead by increasing his lead over teammate Regan Smith to 19 points.
