New start for Tom Gamble who leaves McLaren

It's time for a new beginning for Tom Gamble. Having joined the ranks of McLaren In 2023, the 23-year-old Englishman made his departure official, having participated in various GT3 championships under the colours of Garage 59, Inception Racing and Optimum Motorsport.

“After two amazing years as a McLaren factory driver, the time has come for me to move on,” he wrote on his social media. “I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me, giving me my first role as a factory driver. I’ve had some incredible memories with them and worked with some amazing people.”

For the rest of his career, Tom Gamble says it is now time for him to "take on a new challenge, which I look forward to sharing with you all very soon." But which one? Nothing has leaked yet, but the Epperstone native has just competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona on theAston Martin Heart Racing's Vantage AMR GT3 Evo #27 in GTD. Maybe a hint about this next challenge.
