Paul Jouffreau secured a prestigious victory during the NASCAR French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard. Starting from the front row, the RDV Competition driver dominated all 13 laps of Race 2 at the wheel of his No. 3 Ford Mustang to secure his first victory of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season. In front of a supportive crowd, the Frenchman enjoyed a well-deserved rendition of La Marseillaise on the podium, concluding the series' return to Le Castellet in style.
After a difficult start to the season, marked by a retirement in Spain and then a penalty on Saturday following a collision with Thomas Krasonis, Jouffreau bounced back perfectly. He won by more than 2,5 seconds over the Greek rider, who also finished second in the Junior Trophy.
The battle for third place went down to the wire, with Jordan O'Brien overtaking Vittorio Ghirelli to secure his second podium finish in two races this weekend. Despite this, Ghirelli retains the championship lead heading into the next round at Brands Hatch on June 6th and 7th.
