Porsche announces its return to GT300

The Stuttgart horse will once again be present on the GT300 grid, the second category of Super GT, in this 2025 season. A first since 2021 and the commitment of a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the colors of the Max Racing/Hoppy Team Tsuchiya duo.

This year, Porsche, through its Motorsport Asia Pacific branch, will enter a Porsche 911 GT3 R for the entire GT300 campaign, in collaboration with seven x seven Racing. It will be driven by category expert Kiyoto Fujinami, double champion (2020 and 2022), and Tsubasa Kondo.

« We are delighted to be working with seven x seven and returning to Super GT for the first time since 2021, rejoices the Frenchman Alexande Gibot, general director of Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific. It’s a special moment to be involved again in a championship of such a high standard. This is the next step in our partnership with seven x seven Racing, following our participation in the Japan Cup, the Dubai 24 Hours and the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan and Middle East. They have chosen an experienced driver line-up that we are looking forward to seeing battle it out in such a strategic and competitive series. »

The start of the 2025 Super GT season is scheduled for April 12 and 13 at the Okayama circuit.
