For the next round of the WTCC, in Porto on July 2 and 3, the Chevrolet Cruze and Volvo C30 will be the heaviest cars in the field since they will carry an additional 40 kg, following weight compensation calculations based on times at tour of the different cars during the last three meetings (Italy, Hungary and Czech Republic).
The BMW 320 TC which drove in Brno at maximum weight will be 10 kg lighter than the Chevrolet and the Volvo. As for the Seat Sunred SR Léon 1.6T, they will also benefit from a weight reduction of 20kg, just like the Seat Léon TDi.
Weight compensation for Porto:
+ 40 kg Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T, Volvo C30 Drive
+ 30 kg BMW 320 TC
– 20 kg SEAT León TDi, SUNRED SR León 1.6T
