The qualifying session was exceptionally held on a Friday in WTCR. The Touring Car World Cup shares the Most circuit (Czech Republic) with the Motorcycle Endurance World Championship. Mikel Azcona will start from pole position in the main race of the weekend. The Spaniard could make history in the TCR era by winning two different meetings in the space of a few days.

But the feat of the day is by Mikel Azcona. The Cupra driver actually took pole position. Is this best time a premonition of a historic weekend for the young Spaniard? He is flying to Barcelona this evening where he will compete in the TRC Europe final. Solid leader of the general, he can be titled tomorrow and return to Mustto compete in both WTCR races. The starting grid is composed as follows: Azcona ahead of Norbert Michelisz and Yann Ehrlacher. Esteban Guerrieri (Honda Racing) and Jean Vernay make up the rest of the top 5.

For the first race of the weekend, it is the guest and local of the stage Petr Fulin (Cupra Leon) who will start in pole position having set the 10th time of Q2 which determines the order of the reversed grid . The races will be contested on Sunday at 14:10 p.m. for race 1 and 17:10 p.m. for race 2.
