Long a partner of Ford with the No. 43, Richard Petty Motorsports has sealed an alliance with Richard Childress Racing, which will provide a Chevrolet and engineering skills to the legendary American driver's team.
Darrell Wallace Jr will be lined up in 2018 at the wheel of the No. 1 Camaro ZL43, and RPM will thus find a manufacturer with whom Richard Petty won the Daytona 500 twice in 1979 and 1981.
