Ryan Blaney takes pole in Texas, Ford crushes the competition

The Ford Fusions largely dominated qualifying for the Texas event in Nascar Cup Series last night. The blue oval cars took the first five places on the starting grid, with Ryan Blaney (Team Penske) best time in 26″932 and author of his third pole of the year, 37 thousandths ahead of Clint Bowyer (Stewart-Haas Racing).

Suivent deux autres Ford du Stewart-Haas Racing, avec Kevin Harvick et Aric Almirola, le top 5 étant complété par Brad Keselowski (Team Penske). La première Toyota Camry de Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) se classe 6e et précède les Ford de Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing) et Joey Logano (Team Penske).

William Byron (Hendrick Motorsports) is the best representative of the Chevrolet clan in ninth place, and ahead of Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing).
