Bis repeated for Saintéloc. Already ahead during free practice, the No. 8 Audi R25 LMS dominated prequalifying for the GT World Challenge Europe final at Paul Ricard. Christopher Haase, Dorian Boccolacci and Markus Winkelhock achieved a time of 1'53"969. They are ahead of Ferrari SMP Racing n°71 of Antonio Fuoco, Sergei Sirotkin and Toni Vilander by 309 thousandths as well as the Audi n°31 WRT of Kalvin van der Linde, Rolf Ineichen and Mirko Bortolotti.

The Belgian team also achieved the best time in the silver category thanks to Rik Breukers, Stuart Hall and Benjamin Goethe, sixth overall just ahead of the No. 15 Lexus RCF of Timothé Buret, Aurélien Panis and Thomas Neubauer. Behind, we find the Mercedes-AMG AKKA-ASP n°88 of Raffaele Marciello and Timur Boguslavskiy and the Ferrari 488 AF Corse n°51 of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Tom Blomqvist and Côme Ledogar.

Among the crews vying for the title, the Porsche 911 GT3 R of GPX Racing driven by Patrick Pilet, Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet ranks 20th and the Porsche of Dinamic Motorsport, championship leader, seems decidedly in difficulty since it only achieved the 33rd time with Matteo Cairoli, Christian Engelhart and Sven Müller. However, we must put the position differences into perspective since it is 1”5 behind.

In Pro-Am, the #74 Ram Racing Mercedes set the fastest lap in the hands of Tom Onslow-Cole, Martin Konrad and Remon Vos.
