Shane van Gisbergen at the start of the 12H. from Bathurst

Shane van Gisbergen will be at the wheel of a Mercedes AMG GT3 from Triple Eight Race Engineering for the first round of theIGTC in the Pro-Am category. This is the eighth time that the New Zealander will participate in the Bathurst 12 Hours, the 2022 edition of which will be held from May 13 to 15 after two years of absence due to the health crisis. Crowned with his second Supercars title last year, “Gisby” will aim for a second success at Mount Panorama 6 years after that acquired with Tekno Autosports in the company of Álvaro Parente and Jonathon Webb. 

Shane van Gisbergen will be accompanied by Broc Feeney and Abdul Rahman Ibrahim for this endurance race. A crew of choice which brings together a double Supercars champion, the reigning Super2Series champion and the third in the last edition of the GT World Challenge Australia.
