This time, Cameron Waters (Tickford Racing) came across a determined Feeney (Triple Eight) in the wake of the disappointment of Race 1. Once again taking pole position, Waters managed to keep the lead at the first corner but Feeney did not let up behind him.

In this 52-lap race, the two men took the time to judge each other and it was in the pits that the first turning point came. The entry of the safety car after Richie Stanaway (PremiAir Racing) was immobilized on the track on lap 8 sent everyone into the pit lane.

A face-off then won by Broc Feeney who came out on top thanks to his teammate Will Brown who slightly hindered Cameron Waters as he was setting off again. This time seemed to be the right one for Feeney but everything was decided in the last 4 laps when Waters came back on him after having delayed his second stop by three laps.

With fresh tyres, yesterday's winner came back up to the race leader, opening the door to a close duel. After a first contact 4 laps from the end which saw Waters send Feeney off the track before giving him back the position, the two men engaged in a breathless final sprint which continued until the finish line.

Broc Feeney came out on top at the final corner and set to open his account, but Cameron Waters pipped him to victory on the line to continue his faultless run this season. Will Brown completed the podium.
