Cameron Waters (Tickford Racing) will remember this first round of the 2025 season for the rest of his life. At Sydney Motorsport Park, the Aussie left only crumbs for his rivals.

After winning the first two races of the weekend, Waters wrapped it up this Sunday with another high-flying performance to maintain his efficiency rate at 100%. And like the first two, the driver of the Ford Mustang No. 6 faced a tough Broc Feeney (Triple Eight).

But ultimately it was the rain that posed the biggest threat to Cameron Waters. Appearing late in the race, it caused some panic in the pit lane but the championship leader, like his weekend, managed his stop perfectly to emerge in the lead and win by more than 6 seconds over Will Brown (Triple Eight) and Chaz Mostert (Walkinshaw Andretti United).

This performance allowed him to enter the history of Supercars since he became the second driver after Shane van Gisbergen (The Bend 2022) to collect the 315 points of a SuperSprint round by winning the three races and setting the fastest lap in each race. Not to mention that he also won the three pole positions at stake. Just that.
