Qualification only confirms the dispositions encountered during Free Practice. The three contenders for the title are ready to do battle on the fascinating Guia track. Yann Ehrlacher never ceases to amaze observers, at the wheel of his Lynk & Co 03 loaded with 40 kilos of ballast, the Alsatian has always managed to stay in the top 3 in all sessions.

Third in qualifying, he admits to having done the craziest ride of his career to get this time. The Cyan Racing driver will have the opportunity to start on the front row following the penalty imposed on Mikel Azcona for hindering Rob Huff during Q2. The 2022 WTCR champion was relegated to 5th place in the session. Rob Huff seems to be at the moment the driver who seems to be suffering compared to his two direct opponents. Be careful, with 11 victories on the Guia circuit, “Huffy” is not the king of Macau (Tourism category) for nothing.

It is therefore an exciting first race that we will have the pleasure of following tomorrow at 5:45 a.m. Very clever, anyone who can predict the outcome of a race that seems extremely open.
