Performing well from its first outing with theAlfa Romeo Giulietta of Team Mulsanne in the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) at the Slovakia Ring (Slovakia) in July, Kevin Cecon has been confirmed for the Asian tour this fall. The 24-year-old Italian had finished sixth in Race 3 despite a lack of experience with a front-wheel drive car.
“We were impressed by Kevin's performance in Slovakia, underlines Michela Cerruti, manager of the preparer Romeo Ferraris. Hiring him represented a certain risk, but we were rewarded by finishing in the points. » Kevin Ceccon will support his compatriot Fabrizio Giovanardi at the end of the season, starting in Ningbo (China, September 29-30).`
