The sixth round of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) gets off to an auspicious start for Tom Coronel (Honda). The Boutsen Ginion Racing driver set the best time in the first free practice session at the Slovakia Ring (Slovakia) on Friday midday.

The track conditions are weird, the circuit is very slippery and I had understeer in the slow section. I also had a puncture, the left front tire exploded at the top of a crest, without knowing why. »

Frédéric Vervisch (Audi) is less than two tenths behind. The first Frenchman is Aurélien Comte (Peugeot ), third at 334 thousandths. Yann Ehrlacher (Honda) is seventh (+0″818), ahead of the championship leader Yvan muller (Hyundai, +0″830). John Filippi (Cupra) manque le Top 10 de peu (+1″062). Jean-Karl Vernay (Audi, 14e, +1″318), Nathanaël Berthon (Audi, 18e, +1″761) et Aurélien Panis (Audi, 19e, +2″016) ont plus de difficultés.
