Rob huff (Volkswagen) will start in pole position for Race 1 (start Sunday at 16:20 p.m.) of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) in Zandvoort (Netherlands). On a dry track, the Englishman beat the Frenchman Yann Erlacher (Honda) by 113 thousandths and triple BTCC champion Gordon Shedden (Audi) by 153 thousandths.
The reigning TCR International Series champion Jean Karl Vernay (Audi) will start from the second row (4th). Nathanaël Berthon (Audi, 6th) and Aurélien Comte (Peugeot , 7e) sont les autres tricolores présents dans le top 10. Déception en revanche pour les Hyundai, avec Norbert Michelisz 14e, Thed Björk 19e, Yvan Muller, overall leader, 21st and Gabriele Tarquini 24th.
