The Balance of Performance confirmed for Marrakech

The TCR Series technical department has confirmed the Balance of Performance which is immediately applicable, particularly in view of the first round of the WTCR this weekend in Marrakech, Morocco.

The minimum mass of the cars has been reduced by 20 kg compared to previous years, with the floor masses for the cars (driver on board) set at 1265 kg for models equipped with sequential gearboxes and 1230 kg for DSG gearboxes.

The following weights were applied:

-30kg: Lada Vesta TCR, Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, Renault Mégane TCR

-20kg: Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Honda Civic FK2 and FK7, KIA c'eed, Peugeot 308 TCR

-10kg: Cupra TCR, SEAT León TCR sequential, Opel Astra TCR

0kg: Hyundai i30 N TCR, Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR en version séquentielle, toutes les voitures équipées d’une boîte DSG

+10kg: Audi RS3 LMS sequential

In WTCR, sixty kilos of compensation ballast will be taken on board, which leads to final masses set as follows for the different cars:

– 1335kg: Audi RS3 LMS sequential

– 1325kg: Hyundai i30 N, Volkswagen Golf GTI sequential

– 1315kg: Cupra

– 1305kg: Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Honda Civic FK7, Peugeot 308.

The ride height has been set at 80mm for all cars. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR, Peugeot 308 TCR and the Cupra, Audi RS3 LMS, SEAT León and Volkswagen Golf GTI in DSG version will improve to 102,5% in terms of engine performance.

Maximum power has been set at 344 hp and maximum torque at 410 nm
