Tom Coronel extends with Comtoyou but will drive an Audi RS 3 LMS

Tom Coronel will return to WTCR this year, aiming for his 500th career touring race, he has 484 starts in all championships.

The truculent Dutchman will extend his partnership with the Belgian structure Comtoyou Racing, but will however change his vehicle, going from a Cupra Leon TCR to an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR.

“Technically the Audi has many similarities with the Cupra I drove last year, but the RS 3 really surprised me during my first tests in Spain with the Goodyear tires which are new for this year, Coronel comments.

It's different in many ways and that gives me a good feeling. We also already know that we will carry out additional testing before the first race weekend to refine the car. »
