After a sparkling first weekend in Portimão, Dorian Pin had been unhappy for her home round. At Castellet, the young Frenchwoman lost race 1 due to a puncture in the very last minutes and poor traffic management in qualifying had relegated her far down the grid on Sunday. This Saturday, for the first race of the third weekend of the season in Budapest, the driver of the Iron Ladies started from second position. From the start, Doriane Pin was level with the pole sitter, the Belgian John Wartigue, to take the advantage after a superb maneuver over several turns. She retained this advantage until the finish to pocket her third success of the season. Wartigue took second place ahead of Josef Kral. Good day for the French in Hungary, since Ange Barde wins the Am category.
