Trofeo Pirelli – Doriane Pin wins Race 1 at Silverstone

Dorian Pin won Race 1 of the Trofeo Pirelli this Saturday afternoon at Silverstone, confirming her domination of the championship won in 2021 by her teammate Michelle Gatting.

On the legendary British track, the young 18-year-old Frenchwoman beat the Belgian John Wartique and the Finn Luka Nurmi. Starting from pole position for the seventh time this season, the Iron Dames driver retained her advantage upon first braking. His pursuer in the championship, John Wartique, was offensive in the following turns, but the Habs retained their first place thanks to a solid defense. The rest of the half hour of racing was a formality for Doriane Pin, who quickly opened up a significant gap at the wheel of the Ferrari pink n°83 to achieve his seventh success of the season in Trofeo Pirelli.

Prolific day for the French in Trofeo Pirelli since Ange Barde, fourth overall, won the Am category.
