Former head of HWA, who managed the engagement of Mercedes en DTM, Ulrich Fritz will join the Haupt Racing Team, involved in GT World Challenge Europe but also in the GT3 version of the German DTM.
With his experience in tourism, but also in Formula E with HWA (entity which preceded Mercedes' involvement in the series), Fritz will become general director of HRT in place of founder Hubert Haupt, the latter wishing to focus on his role as driver.
