KSO, promoter of the World Touring Car Championship, is setting up a new internal competition for the WTCC season. The WTCC Rookie Challenge will elect the best beginner in the discipline. Only drivers participating in the entire championship for the first time will be eligible for this award. For 2010, Norbert Michelisz, Michel Nykjaer, Fredy Barth, Harry Vaulkhard, Darryl O?Young and Mehdi Bennani are competing in this Rookie Challenge.
