The GT World Challenge sets down in Valencia, for the 9th and penultimate stage of the 2022 season. For the last race of the season in the Sprint Cup, Raffaele Marciello will start in the lead! The Swiss signed his 4th pole position of the season over the 5 Sprint Cup rounds, on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia (Spain). The pilot of the Mercedes Akkodis ASP n°89 was once again the fastest in Q2 with a time of 1'30″651 and delivered an almost perfect copy in qualifying this season. Only pole at Misano escaped him.
Le pilote suisse a devancé le récent champion de Sprint Cup, Dries Vanthoor, sur l’Audi WRT n°32 (+0″194) et Klaus Bachler sur la Porsche Dinamic Motorsport n°56 (+0″241). On retrouve ensuite à la 4e place au général la première voiture Silver, celle de Nicolai Kjaergaard à bord de la McLaren Garage 59 n°159. Another McLaren took pole in the Pro-Am category, that of Dean MacDonald aboard the second Garage 59 car, the #188.
