In the Pro-Am category, the race for the #188 McLaren of Miguel Ramos ended after a major accident 5 hours before the end of the 24 Hours of Spa.

The 24 Hours of Spa continues to wreak havoc. While there were still 5h49 of racing left on the clock, the McLaren #188 of Miguel Ramos (Garage 59) violently hit the barriers before turn 18. The Portuguese driver who is entered in the Pro-Am category wanted to be on the right trajectory to take the turn. But the Mercedes #93 behind him hit him and threw him into the barriers. The track marshals quickly decided to interrupt the event with a Full Course Yellow. Miguel Ramos got out of his car under his own power.
