Second fastest in qualifying for the third round of the 2011 WTCC behind his teammate Rob Huff at Monza, Yvan Muller was not very satisfied with himself at the end of the session.
“I'm disappointed because I made a mistake on my first lap, explains the reigning double world champion. I didn't leave enough space between Alain (Menu, editor's note) and me, which cost me that tenth of a second on Huff and which gave him pole. It's my fault. »
