Gabriele Tarquini (Seat Leon TDi), leader of the WTCC general classification, started his weekend very well. The Italian driver took pole position on the Okayama circuit (Japan), where the penultimate round of the world championship will take place. Tarquini was ahead of Andy Priaulx and Jörg Müller in Q2, both on BMW 320si. Augusto Farfus (BMW) is fifth, Yvan Muller (Seat) seventh. The two Okayama races will take place this Sunday.
