The Texas ordeal in NASCAR Xfinity Series saw Erik Jones' first victory. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver brilliantly converted his first pole position obtained in qualifying by winning ahead of Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) and Dale Earnhardt Jr (JR Motorsports). Ty Dillon (Richard Childress Racing), 12th last night, remains in control of the championship, two points ahead of Chris Buescher (Roush Fenway).
