5th pole for Leclerc

Charles Leclerc (Prema Racing) achieved its 5e pole position in 5 qualifying sessions in FIA F2 on the Red Bull Ring in 1'13''396. He was more than 3 tenths ahead of the surprising Sergio Sette Câmara (MP Motorsport) despite going off the track on the last lap. Antonio Fuoco (Prema Racing) posted his best performance in qualifying with a third place.

Alexander albon (ART GP) signed on 4e time for his return and ahead of Oliver Rowland (DAMS). Nobuharu Matsushita (ART GP) is 6e in front of Nyck De Vries (Rapax) and Luca Ghiotto (Russian Time). Nicholas latifi (DAMS) and Norman Nato (Arden) completed the top 10 while the Frenchman could be penalized for hindering Artem Markelov (Russian Time).
