On a track that is not very conducive to overtaking, the two most anticipated drivers of this championship F1 Academy have held their rank. Part since the 6e position, Maya Weug (MP Motorsport) finished the race in 2e step of the podium. Coming out of the last bend, the Dutchwoman even came close to overtaking the leader, completing an almost perfect race.

Dorian Pin (Prema Racing) for its part, extracted itself from its 7e place to rise to the foot of the podium, at 4e position. At the end of the race, the Frenchwoman put in a series of fast laps in the hope of catching Alisha Palmowski (Campos Racing). Despite earning the fastest lap point and a pace one second faster than the leaders over the last three laps, she ran out of time.

Winner Ella Lloyd held on to her lead after a sluggish start from polesitter Emma Felbermayr. The Rodin Motorsport driver, decked out in green, was largely overwhelmed by the pace of her rivals, finishing 9th.e place on arrival.

Despite the numerous duels observed at the front, the restart of the race after the three laps led by the safety car did not allow Chloe Chambers, author of pole position on Friday evening, to take off. Only 7e, the American did not have the necessary pace, and will have to wait until this Sunday, 14 p.m. (French time), to try to improve her presence on the front row during the second race of the weekend.
