- Despite starting from 8e place on the grid for Race 1, Francesco Braschi (Campos) managed to win, becoming the first driver to win a race in Eurocup-3, the championship wanting to compete with FRECA.
- On the grid, it was Mari Boya (MP Motorsport) who started the pack. In wet conditions, the pole sitter failed to maintain his position and gradually fell back in the hierarchy. Very comfortable on the soggy tarmac of Spa-Francorchamps, Francesco Braschi created a surprise by “walking on water”. Left since 4e line, the Italian took advantage of the different battles in front of him and his ease to move up through the peloton. With less than 12 minutes to go, his lead was almost 25 seconds over his runner-up Han Cenyu (GRS Team).
- Despite two Safety Car restarts in the last 10 minutes after the mishaps of two of his comrades in the gravel, Francesco Braschi held on to win by almost 11 seconds. Suleiman Zanfari (Campos) completed the podium.
- A contender for the podium in this first race, Esteban Masson (Campos) finally took the checkerboard in 6e position after a big fight with Mari Boya.
