The Auto GP, a newly created discipline, richly equipped and which runs old A1 GP single-seaters, sees a new team join the starting grid for the 2010 season. And not the least, since this new team, named Charouz -Gravity Racing was born from the association between Charouz Racing System, owned by Antonin Charouz, and Gravity Sport Management, a subsidiary of Genii Capital, a company which acquired a stake in Renault in 2009 F1 team.

Charouz-Gravity Racing will supply four single-seaters and has already chosen two of its drivers, Walter Grubmüller and Jan Charouz, who are already associated with the P1 Motorsport team in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Jan Charouz, Renault F1 Team reserve driver and integrated into the RF1 Driver Program, winner in 2009 of the Le Mans Series on theAston Martin operated by Charouz Racing System, is none other than the son of Antonin Charouz. In addition, the Charouz-Gravity drivers will compete in the season under the colors of the Renault F1 Driver Program.
