Trident takes the same ones… and starts again. Roman Staněk, pilot of Formula 3 FIA in the Italian team last year, is promoted to Formula 2 alongside Clément Novalak. The 18-year-old Czech finished his 2022 season in 5th place in the standings, his best result in F3 since his debut two years ago. His last year was marked by several successes: a pole position, four podiums, two fastest laps in a race, and a victory on the Imola circuit (Italy).

Keep the same driver in this new step by car, a " significant added value » for Giaccomo Ricci, manager of Trident: “ Roman knows the team very well, and we will be able to support him in the best possible way. He had a remarkable 2022 season in the F3 championship with Trident, and I think everything is in place to shine at a high level. »

« I'm really looking forward to working with Trident again, says Staněk. I am already working with the team and Giaccomo, a real mentor for me, to achieve our goals together. This year promises to be full of challenges, I'm ready. »

Trident is consolidating its group of young drivers by keeping Roman Bilinski in FRECA for a new season, while the Italian Leonardo Fornaroli continues the adventure with the team in Formula 3.
