Fittipaldi confirmed at Charouz

After having played three rounds (Italy, Russia and Saudi Arabia) replacing David Beckmann at Charouz last year, Enzo Fittipaldi joins for good the ranks of the Czech team. In 2022, the Brazilian will be the teammate of Turk Cem Bolukbasi, also recently confirmed.

« For me, it is a pleasure and an honor to be able to continue my adventure in Formula 2 with Charouz, said Enzo Fittipaldi. As a reminder, Enzo Fittipaldi was unable to take part in the last round of the season in Abu Dhabi due to his accident with Theo Pourchaire seven days ago. During Race 3 in Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian violently hit the Habs who had stalled on the grid. He then suffered a broken heel while the Frenchman was able to participate in the closing of the 2021 campaign.

The start of the Formula 2 season is scheduled for March 2 to 4 with the first tests in Bahrain before the inaugural round still in the same country on March 18 and 20.
