And a new winner, the 4th in 5 races contested in this 2025 season of the FRMEC on the Abu Dhabi side. This Thursday evening, it was Brando Badoer (PHM Racing) who added his name to the list of winners.
Propelled into pole position thanks to the reverse grid system (Top 10 in Race 1), the son of the former driver of F1 Luca Badoer perfectly resisted Théophile Naël (Saintéloc Racing). Author of a better start, the Italian had no trouble defending his position at the first corner to still come out at the head of the pack. Although he had to deal with a Safety Car restart, Brando Badoer once again managed to push back the Frenchman to experience a relatively quiet end to Race 2, which he won with a 4" lead over Théophile Naël. Jack Beeton (Mumbai Falcons) completed the podium after a great battle with Ugo Ugochukwu (R-ace GP) whom he dropped at the first corner with an authoritative maneuver.
In the championship, Freddie Slater (Mumbai Falcons) is getting some breathing room after the technical setbacks of Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix). The Frenchman, winner of Race 1 on Wednesday, was unable to start Race 2. As a result, he sees the championship leader take a 26-point lead before Race 3 this Thursday (19:55 p.m.), where he will start from pole position.
