After Freddie Slater (Mumbai Falcons) the day before, it was Kenato Le (ART Grand Prix) who took victory in this first meeting of the FRMEC 2025 at Yas Marina. The Japanese driver, who started from pole position thanks to the reverse grid system (the Top 10 in Race 1), mastered his subject in Race 2.
Kenato Le immediately took cover when the lights went out and did not have to defend his position at the first braking point, thus calmly coming out on top at the first corner. Then, the Japanese driver mainly had to manage the restarts since the Safety Car intervened twice in this rather choppy Race 2.
On the line, Kenato Le beat Théophile Naël (Saintéloc Racing) and Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP) for a podium composed entirely of French teams. For ART Grand Prix, this is a first victory for its first campaign in FRMEC. Ugo Ugochukwu (R-ace GP) and Brando Badoer (Pinnacle Motorsport) completed the Top 5. Winner the day before, Freddie Slater finished 6th. He will start from pole position for Race 3 this Sunday (17:25 p.m.).
