FRMEC – Race 3: Giltaire wins and takes the lead in the championship

The FRMEC 2025 has a new leader! Starting from pole position this Thursday evening, Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix) put in a very good performance to win Race 3. Although it was marred by clashes and the appearances on the track of the Safety Car (which is how the race ended), the Senlis native always remained focused to counter Brando Badoer (PHM Racing) behind him.

But it was in view of the championship that this victory did the most good since it allowed him to take the lead. Indeed, Evan Giltaire took advantage of the retirement of his rival Freddie Slater (Mumbai Falcons), hit by Taito Kato (ART Grand Prix) in the first moments, to take the lead in the standings. He is now 12 points ahead of the Briton. Note the great performance of Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP). The Frenchman, who started 6th, held on to 3rd place to climb onto his second podium after that of Race 2 during the first meeting last weekend. Théophile Naël (Saintéloc Racing) and Ernesto Rivera (Pinnacle Motorsport) completed the Top 5.
