Antonio Garcia and Richard Westbrook (Corvette DP) crossed the finish line as winners last night on the Laguna Seca circuit, where the penultimate round of the Grand-Am championship was contested. The Fogarty-Gurney (Corvette DP) and Dalziel-Tagliani (Ford Riley) crews finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. The Scott Pruett-Memo Rojas (Riley-BMW) pair remains at the top of the general classification, finishing seventh, 13 points ahead of Ryan Dalziel.
Victory for Dane Cameron and Wayne Nonnamaker (Mazda RX8) in GT. Team Sahlem beat Jeff Segal and Emil Assentato (Ferrari 458), crowned champion on Sunday. Final round at Lime Rock Park on September 28-29.
