Maximilian Gunther achieved the best time of the last morning of pre-season testing in Formula 2 in Bahrain. BWT rider Arden clocked a 1'42''756, which is faster than the best combined benchmark achieved by Arjun Maini (Trident) yesterday. He is ahead of the Swiss Louis Delétraz (Charouz Racing) and the ART Grand Prix of George Russell and Jack Aitken by a full 3 tenths.

Sergio Sette Câmara (Carlin) finished 5th in the session ahead of Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time) and Arjun Maini, the top 7 being held by less than half a second. Regarding mileage, Louis Delétraz is by far the most prolific driver of the morning with 39 laps covered, 9 more than Nicholas latifi (DAMS), the second most productive driver of the session.
