Hervé Leclerc, the father of the pilot of F2 Charles Leclerc, died yesterday at the age of 54. Pilot of Formula 3 in the 1980s, his best result was an eighth place in Monaco in 1988. He had introduced his three sons to karting alongside the Bianchi family, to whom he was close.
He played a leading role in Charles' karting career with Jules Bianchi before giving way to Nicolas Todt as manager of the young Monegasque.
Dad, I love you… ❤ Thank you for everything. We will all miss you. ❤
