A half-hearted session for Jack Doohan at the Hungaroring this Friday morning. From a sporting and chronometric point of view, the Virtuosi driver had a very good free practice session since he set the best time in 1'29"562 ahead of Ayumu Iwasa (DAMS), winner of his first race of F2 last Sunday at Castellet, and David Beckmann (VAR), who once again replaces Jake Hughes.
However, Jack Doohan was unable to complete his efforts due to a technical problem. At the end of the session, the Australian was seen idling on the track and was forced to take the escape route at turn 2 to reach one of the marshals' posts.
Once again runner-up to Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) in the championship after his very good weekend in France, Theo Pourchaire started off smoothly. The Grassois ranked 6e with a best time of 1'29"894, a little over 3 tenths slower than Jack Doohan. The Brazilian finished 13th, 7 tenths behind.
