Third qualifying session and third pole position for Rafael Câmara in Formula 3. Once again, the Brazilian driver managed to get the better of his rivals, even though he was under pressure at the end of the session. Behind him, Santiago Ramos seemed close to overtaking him, but his personal best time was not maintained. The leader's lap, completed in 1:32.206, was two tenths faster than the Mexican's. Câmara's teammate, Noah Strømsted, finished third and was one of nine drivers to be within half a second of the leader.
The final standings, uniquely, shifted significantly towards the end of the session. The cause was Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak's (Campos) incident ten minutes from the end. In the gravel trap, the Thai driver saw local rider Brando Badoer (Prema) overtake Rafael Câmara by 15 of a second before the red flag was raised. The Italian ultimately took 15th place.
On the French side, Alessandro Giusti (MP Motorsport) failed to repeat his strong performance from the morning. Second this morning, the Frenchman climbed to 13th place in qualifying. This was frustrating, given the reverse grid for the sprint race, which placed the 12th fastest time at the top of the weekend's first grid. Théophile Naël (VAR) will start 21st.
